Let's get this straight; Recruitment can be a seriously challenging industry. "People" can't be and neither should be; compared to any other product or service - it seems fairly obvious really; but people are quite literally, unique.
It's this uniqueness, the reality that on occasion; even the most meticulously laid out plans; will go wrong. The difference between a "just doing a job" recruitment mind set, someone determined to give the client the experience they're paying for and deserve, is that this kind of recruiter will have already anticipated and legislated for "Sod's Law" having raised its ugly head.
There's nothing new about outsourced recruitment as a concept - it's been with us for over a 100 years. Why is it then; that many candidates and clients alike are not getting the experience they're investing in? We think part of the answer is the unfortunate reality that for too long; the recruitment industry has gone unregulated and therefore largely unaccountable. The barrier of entry into recruitment has been unacceptably low.
Relay Recruitment has long been recognised as having taken its standards to a whole new level - standards that have ultimately proved to be too demanding, even for those with long careers in recruitment. We haven't set these standards in a vacuum - what we do and how we do it, has been hugely influenced by what those businesses recognised as leaders in their sectors have been telling us are 'must haves'.

We have been on a 14 year honeymoon - recording back to back years of success. Don't get us wrong; there have been some tears, highs and lows along the way - we not only survived the worst downturn for two generations; we are starting to prosper and have a firm eye on the future.
Relay Recruitment are in the process of building specialist engineering, supply chain and permanent divisions to add to our already growing, manufacturing and generalist recruitment activity.
