The internationally recognised Investor In People Standard provides sensible, proven frameworks for maximising business efficiencies and ongoing improvement through an organisation’s staff.

Private recruitment practices are, by definition, in ‘the people business', so it is reasonable to expect them to demonstrate attainment of this challenging benchmark.  Why would a client or candidate want to work with an agency that didn't invest time and money ensuring that its own employees are always motivated and performing to the best of their abilities?

Relay was the first Bradford recruiter to be awarded Investors in People status - back in 1996 - and has regular reviews to validate that it continues to meet the standard.  The most recent of these reports in 2009 won glowing praise from the IIP assessor, who commented:

"There is absolutely no doubt that Relay Recruitment Ltd is continuing to meet the evidence requirements of the Investors in People Standard".

"The company is highly professional"

"The presentation and public image of the company is impressive"

It was also noted that:

...there is a pronounced learning culture with coaching and mentoring of managers and people being of paramount importance

...people are passionate about improving their own and the company’s performance
